I've yet to come across a starter Pokemon with respectable IVs. Can have a Charizard and Venasaur RIGHT NOW, with a Blastoise a couple more catches away, but my best of each is in the 40 percentile

How do we check IVs?
Just caught another snorlax, only 674 CP but thats straight. If i ever hatch one ill have hell candy for it.
Took down a 1775 Gyrados and 2035 Snorlax at the gym by the crib. I had a 100%IV 320 Jigglypuff that was holding its own
. It was eating attacks and taking little damage. I kept running out of time so I had to body the Gyrados and go 6v1 against Snorlax. My Vaporeon, Voltron, and an 1100 Golduck I just captured took it out.

On the low, I've Been playing this game for 3 weeks. Really ramped up the last couple of days tho. My office building sits on two stops so I eat all day. I'm only 11 now with a couple of 400s and 300s, but by next week I should be battle ready
11 to 17 in 3 days. Finally got a 1000+ mon, Vileplume. Took down a gym dolo but got evicted like 5 mins later.
They need to make some real low level gyms with CP caps cause a couple ppl I know have quit due to not being able to do shyt but catch pigeons n bats.FYI, this is the times square area on a Saturday night

Hatched a 1700+ Snorlax today. That was number 100 in the Dex. 
I might stop after I evolve a Magikarp into a Gyarados. The struggle is becoming quite real.

Brehs, if u get a Starmie, keep that shyt and level it. Water gun is just as OP as Vaporeons attack. No joke i took a 1500 starmie to a level 4 gym and melted them all. Didnt even know dude was that OP right now.

You lost for caring about what other people think. I was out near 59th street & Central Park dolo, catching Pokemon. IDGAF.
Okay I'm still having problems with this IV sh*t. I used my cp488 Bulbasaur as an example. Silph Road gave me a Battle rating of 55.4% and a CP rating of 37.1%. Poke assistant gave me a maximum of 73.3%, average of 52.9%, and a minimum of 40%.
go by poke assist. The bolded, which is the highest, is his IV. so he's 73%.

So there may be a bug where attack IV is tied to pokedex number, which would explain why damn near every starter I've caught had attack IV 0-3, and why dratini, magikarp, snorlax, and eeves had attack IVs no less than 13.
