Didn't even realize there was an event going on (although figured something was up with all the Magikarp appearing out of nowhere).
Caught one of the shiny Karps (only 55% IV though :sadcham: ). If I can get to 800 candies, I'll evolve the shiny one and the highest IV one I've got (currently 84%). Apparently the shiny Karps evolve into red Gyrados.

I have 5 over 82% IV and my shiny one is only in the mid 40's smh
I just upgraded my phone and haven't returned my old one; I'm able to play on both phones. I didn't know you could play off two phones
