Yea, it's better than I thought. Exploring is pretty cool. Just an hour in so far tho. Watching "all of us are dead" on netflix with the fam, but gonna hop on later.

I played about an hour and a half. I like it, the quality of life additions are game changing. Seamlessly going through battles, catching Pokémon, and navigating menus is fast and feels great. So far it feels like Game Freak actually put some real effort into this game.

The graphics are ass but they are onto something with the gameplay. This is the path forward for modern Pokémon just add a Pokémon League plot on top of everything here
I've thought ever since Colosseum and XD they didn't need to fall back on the pokemon league as a crutch for the games. So I actually like that about this game.
But I never really thought they should go THIS route per se
I'm burnt out on Pokemon, but this is fresh enough to keep me interested. I'm about 2 hours in
