U can trade Pokemon red blue and yellow Pokemon to sun and moon apparently but not to X and y and the last game that came out ruby and sapphire remake

Got 4 kids my 2 oldest play Pokemon all the time and battle me too
My 3rd youngest is aboard too just gotta get her a 2ds for her bday which I will
