We need to get to the point where:
Each pokemon sounds like an actual individual animal; not this game boy 8-bit sound crap
Pokemon are actually going across the screen and hitting eachother
Pokemon show battle damage and fatigue

We're way too many generations in for them to not improve the immersion at all.

Yeah, can honestly say the latest trailer did nothing for me. They’re not even keeping the best part about Arceus which was the seamless battle transitions and pokemon capturing.

Not buying another pokemon game until another dev takes over
