Yeah I never fukked with that midnight release cuz of my regular 9-5, but some people do have more flexible schedulesI never undrstood the logic of the midnight release crowd. These games usually drop on a tuesday which means most people would have work or go to school the next day. So they take a day off to play the game from 12:30 to what maybe 3 or 4 am and pass out and fall asleep until the late afternoon at which point people get off of work, pick the game up and are only a few hours behind the people that stood in line for hours only to play a few hours before everyone else. Ive just never been that excited about any game to go through all that.
Yeah. I guess if you were going to be off anyway and had nothing else to do then its cool, it just seems mad corny to me otherwise and way too much work. Heck, me personally even if I had the next day off I wouldn't do it. I'd fall asleep to soon after getting the game anyway. I'd rather not wait in a line and pick it up the next morning. But, its all good if that's what people do. It beats being out there getting into trouble. It's just something I wouldn't do myself and the video reminded me of exactly why I wouldn't.Yeah I never fukked with that midnight release cuz of my regular 9-5, but some people do have more flexible schedules![]()
I go to them because I work what amounts to 2nd shift at my job. It's not the traditional 2nd but i start later in the day and get off later. It's easier for me to go pick up a game after work than before work.I never undrstood the logic of the midnight release crowd. That may be the case, but Im just commenting on midnight releases in general. Im not criticizing the people for it, I'm just saying me personally I don't really see the benefit of it.Nintendo releases their games on Friday.
