Sounds like you need to read up on the law, because if you ain't break you don't have to do shyt. There's plenty of smart brehs trashing cops for trying to over them.

If you are operating a vehicle and are pulled over in most States, you are REQUIRED to show ID. Has nothing to do with breaking any Law, but with violating State statutes or ordinances. This distinction is necessary due to the wording of the Constitution. You'd only be asked to step out of the vehicle if you were being detained and you'd get detained for NOT COMPLYING. Even then, you can still get out of getting a ticket, arrested, or both by doing the bare minimum and keeping your mouth shut.

There's plenty more 'smart brehs' in jail who think like you. Stop engaging with police unnecessarily and thinking you know the regulations better than they do. Unless you're a criminal lawyer, you don't. If you feel the stop was unjustified, plead your case in court with a lawyer instead of arguing with cops at the stop.​

There is nothing I can say. I've been articulating my words. Sometimes without cuss words. But the fact remains if black people wanna be taken seriously we gotta hold our politicians to the fire and stop voting for these folk i.e. Al Green, Sheila Jackson Lee, etc etc. But again Malcolm X told us all this decades ago in the Ballot or The Bullet speech. Negroes have a short memory and love jesus. We are defeated until we actually say enough is enough as a collective unit atleast 75 percent of us need to be on code for a change to happen.

I bring us religion constantly because once they owned our spirituality, owning our minds wouldn't be an impossible feat. Again, I'm an artist so I think differently than most black folk.

But it's getting to the point where they are forcing our hands into bloodshed. I've seen how history has shown what happens to the bottom classes of a country's social order....they either assimilate, die out or are flat out exterminated.

This study isn't for us black people it's something the majority of us already know. I'd argue the study is NOT intended for you as the primary audience. To you it is common sense, yes but to others, it may not be. It is direct evidence against the common argument used by the other side to say that "black people need to stop resisting". It is also for the legislators and the other people who hold an incorrect viewpoint to change their minds and vote to pass laws that can make escalating commands like this from officers illegal and teach them the proper way to handle interactions with civilians. Whether you like it or not getting things changed in this country will require incremental steps and support from those undecided and weakly aligned to the counter position of the one supported by this data. Going around crying "DEFUND THE POLICE" like you're basically implying with your last sentence in your post did not work to produce the change we needed to see. Progress comes as a combination of multiple efforts not just one massive change. Society here doesn't work that way.

Edit: That being said I will also say that if they want you arrested, tazed, beaten, or even dead due to their own racism they will do their best to ensure you end up that way even no matter what laws get passed or training gets done. Many cops are cowards though so they'll do as much as they feel they can get away with smh
