Police sent free Super Bowl tickets to wanted criminals just to arrest them upon arrival at the stadium

They entrapped them, then drained the joy from their faces, then surrounded them while pointing weapons (which would have shot at themselves if shyt got crazy), then roughly handled the compliant and now depressed suspects.

If they knew where to send the tickets why didn't the just go arrest them where they were at

They said they sent it to the last known address. The address had family and/or friends living there who would swear they haven't seen the said person in years, but when something of value shows up, they know exactly how to find them.

Not surprised this is old. I remember seeing something similar when I was a kid (90s tho). They told people with warrants they won something and when they walked in people would start clapping. A lot of them would raise their hands in the air to celebrate and a cop hiding by the door would slap cuffs on em.
