I decided to do a cursory look into what the Democrats have done for black people historically. It appears Kennedy was the first president to get overwhelming support from African Americans, and I believe it was because Martin Luther King Jr. got a promise from Kennedy if he were elected. Thus, civil rights laws were passed, and black people have been voting Democrat ever since. The problem is, we stopped demanding things, so the Democrats didn't have any reason to do anything for us.

2016 saw black people asking for something, and that tradition has continued in 2020. And yet, people are in here trying to get us to accept the scraps we've accepted for the last 50 years. Oh wait, things are going to be different this time. And what historical basis do we have for that? What have any of the candidates done in the past that demonstrates that they are going to help black people? It's just going to be more of the same, and we have no evidence that things we will be different.

I'm gonna vote and it aint for Trump or any GOP b*stards that take away stuff from any working class non-white person.

We sat back in 2016 and got the whole government into a big mess with white supremacists going unchecked, no prison reform, and ACA getting gutted. Most people thankfully woke up and not gonna do that in 2020. Hell, even in 2018 midterms, blacks did have a higher turnout than 2016.
