damn, this is tough. both are classics to me. I'd put both in my top 20 hip hop albums/tapes ever made.

But BTH is one of those few projects that I just heard at the right time in my life and shyt just resonated on a different level.

could the same be said of all these dudes tho? Blu was like 2 years ahead of the twitter explosion and labels casing after mixtape rappers who understood melody (Cole, Drake, Kendrick, Krit, etc).

BTH is a classic imo.

THE ONLY 1 I CAN CONFIRM IS COLE. HIS STYLE WAS WAY TOO SIMILAR TO BTH BLU. DRAKE WAS MILES AHEAD OF THESE FOOLS & EVERYBODY ELSE DURING THIS ERA, KRIT COUNTRY ASS CAME OUTTA NOWHERE KILLIN shyt IN 2010 TWO YRS LATER, & KENDRICK DIDNT WIN ME OVER UNTIL O.D. BUT I FELT HIS SOUND WAS ORIGINAL TOO. IM NOT SAYIN THAT COLE IS A CARBON COPY OF BLU, HOWEVER I DO FEEL LIKE BTH HELP HIM FIND HIS STYLE. IM STILL TAKIN JERMAINE OVER BLUE ANY DAY THO
