Depends I guess breh. Efil4zaggin to this day makes me cringe at times, but the production is so ridiculous I find myself disregarding the outlandish sh!t on there. That album is almost shock jockish, and at times one can't take it seriously, but it's still dope though. On the other hand, Face's music doesn't make me cringe, cuz he paints the picture so well its almost like a movie on wax. So when he's killing b!tches after sleeping with them, I kinda shrug my shoulders and chalk it up as part of the movie.

Then there's, Em, who I dont listen to post the MMLP, but I always get a kick out of him insulting females in the industry or women in the media in general. Its hilarious.

Good question, its deeper than yes or no when you really think about it. I can't say yes or no just off the question. It really depends on if I like the artist or song tbh. Also depends on if its a line or two or the whole song. If its a line or two generally I don't care as long as its not just for shock value if that makes sense.

What if it's just an underlying theme throughout the whole song and it's not even blatant enough to verbalize it's intentions . . but as you listen you just notice "This is misogynistic"

That's why I said it was a good question that's deeper than yes or no, for examples like you stated. If it was a theme but it was still a banger I'd rock it. If it was an underlying theme to a carrer I wouldn't though cause I'd be for the shock value like I said in my other post. Again good question, its thought provoking.

I can't say that I don't. Most of the GOATs and the artists that I listen to have misogynistic content in their music, it doesn't really bother me. It's just music.

I generally just draw the line at what I think is dope. Suga Free has some style to it, is funny and the music is usually dope as well. KIM can be looked at more like a movie. I don't watch many horror movies but if it's a good one I will like it. KIM reminds me of something more like Spit On Your Grave or the Saw sequels, not much there to warrant multiple viewings.
