The fact you can play switch games on television makes it objectively better than anything on this list.

I get the vita had that cross play but it had some input lag and wasn’t well optimised as that wasn’t it’s function.

There's a lot of good portables to choose from, but I'm gonna go for one that isnt listed, but full of quality. The neo geo pocket color. It was dead on arrival due to coming out around the height of pokemania and with the gba looking on the horizon, but that little fukker was oozing with quality. It's microwitch dpad which was fantastic for fighters, which this thing had plenty of, the best, and I mean best of the snk vs capcom games was released on it. Two AA batteries seem to last forever on it. It was a marvel.

I’m going with PSP. That thing was my smartphone before I got my smartphone. Watches movies, browsed the internet, listened to music and played games. Truly ahead of its time. :wow:
psp did the secondary function tablets do now, almost ten years before android tablets became mainstream, but as a gaming device, it falls to the gba

Only problem with cross play is the lack of r2 and l2 buttons. Lag hasn't been a problem for like 5 years now.
