After Kendrick, it's Ab-Soul. This nikka's wordplay is actually better than Kendrick's , but Dot is more balanced as an artist. Soul's next album should be on GKMC level tho. His guest verses following Control System were

I also have high hopes for Jay Rock too. His guest verses last year were on point too. You can tell he's improving as a rapper and stepping away from that 2001 Chronic influence. If he updates his sound, Rock will be on everybody's favorite list again. That verse on Money Trees gave me hope

I'm still yet to listen to Jay Rock's joints but its on my list. I cant say who's my favorite cuz just like BCC or Wu, it rotates. They're a breath of fresh air though. GKMC is arguably the best album of 2012, and Jay Rock arguably had the best guest verse last year. As an artist though I'd say Kendrick is the most polished with Schoolboy close behind. Lyrically though, its a tossup between Kendrick and Soul. I'm getting ready to download Jay Rock's sh! t now. If its dope, will purchase out of respect.
