Decontextualized I think it's a great idea. Every man does not deserve a "wife", if they that hard up hit up the next backpage variant or use some lotion. One of the big problems in the community is dudes & chicks who ain't bout shyt running rampant through the community. Given men/women relationships a man has a much better chance of checking such behavior with a woman than vice versa. As someone stated above well off men should take multiple wives. This would give the remaining men incentive to position themselves for marriage. It would also deprive those dudes who ain't got shyt together from burdening the community with procreative fukkery.

But that's just my take off the dome, I might come to a different position if I thought bout it more.
