Apparently it's just distribution rights. Respawn has control of their IP, but EA gave themselves the right to make sure they have first right of refusal if Respawn went to another publisher for distribution.

It wont. Because Titalfall is currently on two platforms while BF4 is on five. Fact is BFn is fukking trash due to its many issues. Almost 150 days and it still plays like shyt. Dice are incompetent developers
