Popovich is 6 wins away from tying Lenny Wilkens.
7 wins to get the record.

The way the Spurs are playing, I'm not sure Pop is going to get it.

:picard:

The Spurs have 29 games left and need to win 7.

Their next 15 games are against:

Houston
Cleveland
Atlanta
New Orleans
Chicago

Oklahoma City
Washington
Miami
Memphis
Sacramento

Charlotte
LA Lakers
Toronto
Utah
Indiana

They can beat Houston and New Orleans. Maybe the Wizards.
The rest... :francis:

We out here resting Dejounte for no reason. The tank is clearly on. 8 more wins could be the difference between the 3rd pick and the 8th pick. fukk them wins

I get it. I just thought it was clear the Spurs were not going to be very good this year so I thought getting the wins record was one of Pop’s central motivations.

Maybe I’m wrong and he just wants to coach.
It would suck if he retired a few wins short.
