Y’all really trippin over Lonnie :skip:

He was a complete liability on defense and inefficient on offense but had his moments every now and then.
I always fukked with him, but if he had to leave, I def didn’t wanna see him end up in LA.

He’s just bound to pop off on us at least 2 of those gems per year.

So we just released Gallo...we did not even try to flip him for ANYTHING :dwillhuh:

OKC told Hortford to go home and they eventually got a 1st round pick for him and he was owed 52 million over two years...but we can't get shyt for Gallo and we got to pay him money to go away :dwillhuh:

What am I missing? I know if he is on the roster after a certain date his contract is guaranteed but why do we care when we about to turn over point guard duties to a player who don't even have facial hair yet :dwillhuh:

We literally just did this with Thad last year so why we not trying to do it with Gallo :dwillhuh:

I’m browsing the Spurs subreddit and looking at the comments on Twitter and I’m really disappointed in what the fans are saying.

It wasn’t long ago that anything PATFO did was met with support and faith that they had a plan.

Now I’m seeing all this self-pity and anger that the Spurs somehow sabotaged their future.

It’s sad to see.

I don’t want to see a team tank. To me, tanking suggests you have a capable team but you purposely play poorly.

I think these young Spurs have a lot of potential and I want to see them work through the process and grow. And if that means a bad record that’s ok. To me that’s not tanking. But to see people with hopes of signing overrated bums like Colin Sexton or handing out the maximum to Ayton. Nah man. Nah. I’m good with all that.

Try to take a long term view of what could be.

Seeing Spurs fans eager to get mid-tier veterans to chase the 5th seed is something the Knicks do.

:hhh::scusthov:
It could be worse… y’all could be the Nets with minimal talent and no picks.
