Except in this case it's the exact opposite, because when you're pulling up from behind the arc, especially in this instance you can see that Curry's leaning into his shot towards the basket. The only thing that saved Curry's ankle is the fact he crumbles when he comes down after taking his shot, which he does often to avoid injuring his ankle(s). Because muh'fukkas is always trying to undercut him. Aldridge clearly walked right into his landing path, intentional or not. It's still the same thing that ZaZa did.
Nope.. i actually believe curry was even trying to draw the foul... The way he spread his legs(p) he is making it easy to land on someone foot... And that position protects ur front leg...u are mentally aware of that leg as it is use to guide ur landing.. zaza went completely under kawhi...he reached kawhi back leg...the one used to absorb shock..

As someone who suffered several injuries including a torn acl from playing basketball.. the leg u think is safe is mostly the one injured..landing on someone foot with the guiding leg will.leave u safe most of the time.

shyt was wrong then but Pop was defending his guy playing legal defense (at the time).

So what you saying then what happened to Kawhi is cool cause of something Pop said in 2006 :gucci:

Also Bruce never injured anybody in a playoff game.:beli:

Pop got every right to be mad at this terroristic CAC knocking out his best player on a bullshyt play:aicmon:
breh do you have reading comprehension problem or something ? I spelled out in my posts the EXACT opposite; you clearly cannot read or you have brain functioning in one direction or something. re-read my posts. nowhere I said what happened to kawhi was 'cool'. stop it. I said what zaza did was dirty and indefensible.

Rules changed since then, dummy.
was kicking someone in the face legal back then ? :mjlol:
sliding under is the same thing now as it was back then. it was always considered a dirty play because many aimed to fukk up the shooter. shyt even bowen himself admitted as much :pachaha:

i cant blame him for being upset considering the circumstances:yeshrug:
no way golden state wins that game if not for the flagrant shyt:yeshrug:
I honestly think deep down, the NBA and many of its fans are low key happy Zaza did that goon shyt.

The "dream trilogy" everybody has been busting at the thought of looked to be in actual danger of not happening for a second.

Nah that's basically what you are saying though :pachaha:

Anybody trying to correlate Bruce Bowen with what happened to Kawhi Leonard is on some p*ssy ass shyt and basically saying he any Spurs player deserves that to happen to them:yeshrug:

I don't care what they say :manny:
fair enough. me, I think coaches can be honest and not too biased when they need to. you can have a mother hen coach and then you have someone like beli who wont be afraid to bring heat on his own players. might be a bit different in bball tho.

if we assume all coaches are biased, then nothing they say holds much weight, since they'll always try to make their team some kind of saints and others are out to get them :manny:

no Im not, stop making shyt up. your logic is garbage.

you are so biased you cant even comprehend what Im saying.

if anyone defends a dirty player and then turns around and calls someone else a dirty player, theyre a hypocrite :manny: as much as I love having Dray on my squad, hes a bona fide example of that. hence why most of what he says cant be taken seriously at all. pot calling kettle black type of shyt.

thats all Im saying. Kawhi didnt deserve this shyt and no one deserves an injury off this fukk shyt. and fukk zaza. I wanted dubs to win this series without clowns talking about injuries.

Well, clearly you don't pay enough attention to his shooting if you think that. He relaxes his body in midair to avoid coming down hard. It's what he's done for years to decrease the chances of him injuring his ankle(s). If Curry comes straight down as Kawhi did, he would've rolled his ankle right on top of LMA's foot. Yes your backfoot typically supports you when you come down after taking a shot, but it's not ALWAYS the case - especially the further out you are when shooting.

Look at the shot in slow motion (credit to @sfgiants), and see how Curry comes down on his front foot first, and not his back -

Was Mike Brown really saying LMA was dirty for that? Where Aldridge's foot made very little forward motion from where he took off to where he landed, he was more trying to get a hand in Curry's face. If anything Curry's forward foot moved forward excessively. The slowmo proves that. That play is nowhere near Zara's double step

Curry's gonna have to be creative with where his foot lands this next couple of games on contested shots
