Did they not get flack for this back in the day? Did they not get banned from radio? Promoting domestic violence on the lead single from a platinum album?:gucci:

1. Rappers have said equal and worse back with no consequences, especially back then.
2. The radio version said "pop that cris, pop that mo, not that brown, not that blow" so the people who would have given them flack likely wouldn't have heard it anyway.

Big Tymers weren't that big. Women/Mainstream media wasn't paying attention to them.

"Not that brown, not that blow..." They were sharing positivity on the clean version.

Most Cash Money Radio Edits >>> Album versions IMO. Only rappers I can say that for...

Breh the album versions always threw me the hell off. I think the only justifiable song that was better than the radio edit was Project bytch

Nah Death Row always had the best radio versions, especially 2Pac, where they'd do a new verse and rearrange the beat.
