Strong evidence for evolution through genetic science...strong evidence for the expansion of the universe through astronomy...you can observe this yourself with a decent telescope honestly. Anyone who disbelieves in something that obvious can have all the fairy tales they want.

Honesty, it's no different than someone going hallelujah when a doctor cures their summer cold they couldn't shake on their own. If he or she broke it down into details how he stopped the cold, does it make the cure any less viable? To God Be The Glory, but I don't want to know the details? Stuff like that would have kept us in the Stone Age....:mjcry:

Does genetic science prove that beings can change genuses? like does it prove that a fish can become a bird? :ohhh: I know natural selection has pretty much been proven at the genetic level with virus strains becoming stronger and resistent to certain vaccines, but I've never heard/seen anything tantamount to a proof that a bird evolved into a squirrel for example.

"God" in the way you are mentioning it doesn't have to abide by any order.

Well there you have it. So now that this is established where you see someone such as Moses does something "extraordinary", you'll understand that its God, the One that gets credit for the "intelligent design" that is working through him. Not that its some man telling you to follow him because of some miracles.

At the same time, "God" gave me the reasoning abilities to decipher fact from fiction. "God" didn't tell me Enoch never died. Some Hebrew scribe did. So now I should use the reasoning faculties that "God" gave me and decide based on empirical evidence of the inevitability of death and decide whether or not I believe this historian or not. Personally, I think "God" if he did exist in your sense (meaning a being that created you for his glory and just to worship him) would find more fault with you not using something that obviously took him time to create, that being your conscience. "faith" is a construct of man, all your faculties are based on empirical results, the same faculties that were given to you by "God". Yet I'm supposed to believe a man who tells me to ignore my "God"-given ability to reason and blindly believe stories from an era where people believed lightning was created by a mythical being :mjlol:

Yea God didnt tell you that lol. God told the Hebrews that. And so that the Hebrews would go tell the world that and those that would be wise would take heed to what they said. I did. You didnt. Thats pretty much what its about. Choice. So you can pretend to believe in God but then question whether God could use men to do anything that God willed if you want. I wont. I understand that God, the Creator, or the Being that was not created but created all other things in existence (or whatever you want to call Him) is Almighty in our sense of things. Meaning that at the LEAST, in our existence, there is nothing He cant do. Because He created it. To me thats logical. Now believing in God or not takes faith. But when one "claims" to believe in God, what I just said is logical if you believe the bible or not.

So at the end of the day, you can mock it and choose not to believe it all you want. That just means it wasnt for you.But what I've said is absolutely true for anyone claiming to believe in God. Not that they AUTOMATICALLY have to believe the account of the Hebrews. I didnt. But that they should understand that if they believe in God/The Creator then they also believe that this Being is the reason certain stipulations are in place. So one stipulation is that humans CANT breathe underwater. Well, if you believe in the Creator, dont you believe that He created this stipulation? If so, then why do you believe He couldnt SUSPEND this stipulation to fulfill His will? And what I've just said applies to any "miracle" throughout the "old testament". Again, not that you AUTOMATICALLY have to believe these things happened. Just that if you CLAIM to believe in God, that you'd understand that those things are POSSIBLE with God. You dont seem to believe that which makes me question if you really faith but hey thats none of my business....

I "CLAIMED" (really it was a statement not a claim) to believe in intelligent design, not the Abrahamaic God. Belief in Intelligent design =/ Belief in Abrahamaic God. There is a spiritual component to the Abrahamaic God that isn't in intelligent design. A radio is obviously made by an intelligent designer, it doesn't mean that entity has the power to separate the heavens and the earth, just that he has the knowledge and scientific background to make radios. I "claim" what is in my opinion the basic and the obvious, which is that we are here by intelligent design, which is self evident. You claim that everything was created by the Abrahamaic God, which is not self-evident, because what's God to you is not God to the Muslims, not to the Hindus, not to the Native Americans, etc.. And actually many pastors do tell you to follow Jesus because of miracles, that the miracles proved he was the Son of God. Ironically, in Revelations (just to show you that I know the Bible) the "Beast" so to speak also performed miracles. So for the sake of argument, assuming miracles are real, if both good and evil entities can perform miracles, it has less to do with any supernatural being, and more just a functional knowledge of how to use the power of your mind :manny: Anyway breh, we're beating a dead horse here, if you want to believe a chariot of fire came to pick up Elijah, so be it breh :manny:

Your comprehension skills are lacking. I clearly stated in that post that believing in The Creator doesnt mean one will automatically believe the bible. But here you come and make the bolded statement as if my post suggested that

:camby:

There is a spiritual component to the Abrahamaic God that isn't in intelligent design. A radio is obviously made by an intelligent designer, it doesn't mean that entity has the power to separate the heavens and the earth, just that he has the knowledge and scientific background to make radios.

Wow. Such a terrible analogy. :snoop:

If you're going to try and make a connection, then make it with the intelligent designer of the radio dealing with what HE CREATED. God Almighty created the heavens and the earth. The "intelligent designer" of the radio did not.

And God's existence was "self evident" to Moses. And King David as well. In other words, it doesnt matter what is "self evident" to you. What matters is what is and what isnt.

My point about "miracles" is that if you believe in "intelligent design" than you should also believe that those things are possible with the One that gets credit for the "intelligent design". Because the only reason those things are "impossible" to us, is because He set He made them to be that way. Again that is logic. And since you didnt seem to get it the first time, Im not saying that one should AUTOMATICALLY believe those things happened. Just that if they believe in "intelligent design" that they should logically believe those things are possible with the Creator.

And yes I'll continue believing in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You believe in whatever idol or no-god you do. We'll see who comes out on top...

Evolutionary science doesn't call for genus switch ups. Bird evolved into a squirrel? Where would you even get something like that? I'm curious. I hope that's not some tongue in cheek comparison to humans having evolved from the Great Apes. If it is, it's the poorest I've seen yet. Their dna sequences that match up would be miniscule at best...at a very very basic level. Like the fact that they are both animals and nothing else level. Not the case with us and the Great Apes at all.

You're right!

I've always felt that deep down, this was the sentiment you held about the different things I've said to you. Glad you finally admitted it.
^^^ @King-Over-Kingz see you in hell :jawalrus:

Hey idk breh, maybe you'll be able to see me in heaven while you're in hell:mjlol: You plan on going to hell but I dont.....

Btw, a man named"Thsnnor" is not whose judgement I should be worried about. Same as the man (Paul) he quoted.
