Again, I thank god everyday that I made it out of working hospitality and retail type jobs. Everyday on the job you run into some nut ass shyt like this. To make it worse, you dont know if a CAC is going to drive by later in the day and shoot up the place because the iced tea didnt have enough sugar.

Can he argue that he feared for his life?

Who is one person to judge another person's fear for their own life?

Also, when one person has a physical advantage over another, then the gun is the equalizer

“I’m trying to get my food, dog” :gucci: dude on the ground bleeding out
If he already paid and is waiting to get his food, someone being shot is prolonging his order. He's still hungry, he went there for food. He ain't getting a food and he's not getting a refund. The customer ain't getting his time back.

Put yourself in his shoes.

He can argue it. Doesnt mean a jury will buy it.

He wasn't being beaten up. He wasn't on the ground getting stomped. The other guy didn't have a knife or a bat.

The guy got punched, he could've turned and ran away. Or just walked away.

Some states have a duty to retreat. But imminent threat and/or bodily harm falls within self defense statutes. I'm pro gun. But shooting someone because you got punched ain't enough.

He didn't get rocked or dazed. He wasn't getting combo'd. He's gonna do a bid.

He could but idk if that would work. Also self defense ain’t the end all be all, them crackers don’t be trying to give that type of grace especially when weapons are involved. Physical advantage means very little for black men in the courthouse.
