Finally ate Popeye's chicken sandwich this morning. I was running errands and there was a store close by. I figured they would open at 11 am but googled it and they opened at 10 am. Pulled up to the drive thru and saw a sign on the intercom saying they're out of chicken sandwiches tonight. Then the manager walked out and took the sign off and said they have them. Ordered two spicey chicken sandwiches and went home to eat. I should neg everyone hyping these sandwiches up.

They're decent but way overhyped. If I'm out and about and hungry if a store is close I MIGHT consider but I won't go out of my way to get a sandwich.

I am across the street from Chik Fil A now, may go get a couple sammiches. the line for Chik Fil A is on the street and this is everyday at this location. (the street is inside a shopping center) still can get through there in 15 minutes or less. havent had Popeyes sandwich yet and wont try to get one either. I got other shyt to do than to sit in a fast food parking lot for 60-80 minutes.

edit: I rarely go to Popeyes but definitely not for chicken sandwich so a couple weeks ago I went to get Voodoo Tenders. I was the only person there....they told me to pull up and wait on the curb. Then the 2nd person came through the drive through and they told them to wait (they have no waiting spaces like McDonalds) and they still came out and gave me her order and gave her mine. its just a ghetto operation.

It's amazing how much hype there is for what is ultimately a regular ass chicken sandwich. Like this shyt really aint that far off from the homemade version I made back when the shyt first sold out. There aint no special recipe or nothing, 90% of the difference is due to the bun. Chik Fil A still reigns supreme.
