Fam going crazy. Moms flew in from Seattle (they been divorced for 20 years), she's a saint tho been keeping it cool. I've been surprising cool. Scary cool. Maybe hasn't really hit me yet but I've been alright. I believe in those NOLA second lines where you celebrate a life so maybe that's helping me

It's gonna hit you breh, for real. Lost my pops back in 2010, two weeks before his 50th birthday. Stayed strong for a good two years and all of a sudden just lost my shyt breaking down crying bout my old man at a damn mcdonalds drive thru.

Sorry for your loss OP. I lost my grandmom earlier this year and I regret never going to see her....she lived not too far from me.
I encourage everyone to get the flowers while they can still smell them. This is something I have to work on as well.
