Whenever I look at these style characters all I can see is the Sambo imagery.

Mickey Mouse was almost a direct copy of the racist cartoon image, and Animaniacs are based on the general concept of the Disney characters.

Even clowns are racist images, just color swapped. But imagine that Afro wig being black and the white make up being black. They add the extra big nose and paint big ass lips on..

3rd verse of the National Anthem that doesn't get sung these days is about slaves being obedient.

I feel what you’re saying. But these reboots will never give me the same feelings they gave me as a child. I saw the first ep and I liked it, but nowhere near as much as I did when as a child. I remember my cousin, sister, and I use to pretend to be the animaniacs.

Now with that said, I’m interested in seeing X-men 97; however, I hoping we don’t get a 1:1 reboot. I hoping we don’t necessarily get just a kids cartoon. I hope Marvel uses the show to give what Marvel fans what they deserve , which is good X-men stories.

I expect to be disappointed with X-Men '97. They should have just done a brand new X-Men animated series totally unrelated to X-Men TAS. Disney is going to ruin it.

“Family Guy” is a bite off of “Animaniacs” to me.

And I just read the that the Animaniacs reboot showrunner was a writer for Family Guy. I guess they don’t hide their fandom.
