How do y'all feel about the new Cayman, I've nothing but great reviews.

I think its an decent track car, but alot of people down em because they're just hard top boxsters.

The new 981 Cayman is nasty though. Porsche has to specifically gimp the car because it would beat a 911. It has the exact same engine as a base 991 911 but has a few less hp on purpose. The engine is in the right place as well... MID ENGINE vs the history class thing they do on the 911... There is a reason no other car manufacturers have rear engine cars. Even the new 981 boxster is nice though(way more manly looking). The older 986/987 though... EWWWW. SOO UGLY. But yeah a 911 is still a crazy car. Don't knock the new cayman though just because it is cheaper.

Yea that shyt is indeed sick. Porsche needs to just let it go. It won't happen, tho.

I actually liked the older Cayman design. But, I agree with your point about Porsche preventing the Cayman from killing the 911. The Cayman is a better looking car. If the Cayman had the same HP as the 911 (at the same price point), most would go for the mid-engine car.

I was referring to the older boxster. The new boxster is actually nice.

I have my deposit in for the Taycan. Supposed to debut in September with cars being shipped at the beginning of 2020.

The lease on my BMW is up next month and I'm thinking about getting into a Cayenne S on a short term lease. Never had an SUV before so it would be a nice change of pace before getting the Taycan.
