Aldridge shooting a million mid range jump shots has started to hurt them.......
Mainly this. Portland hasn't been in the playoffs since Brandon Roy's knees last gave out. Most people didn't even expect them to make the playoffs (though I'm not surprised
).
yea that's gonna happen when your best player has been injured and dorrell wright is his replacement....
lack of a bench is still hurting them, they rely to heavily on there starting 5.....there team defense sucks they have good individual defenders but there just bad as a team....
they have a bright future though, all there core players are in there prime and locked down.....as long as they keep adding pieces they'll be contending for years to come...

Yeah bench is pretty much Mo Gotti....But CJ has some potential to be a beast / get to the line. Dude is literally just now playing his 15th game or some shyt due to a preseason injury(missed 32 games) , sohh he looks lost / out of sync out there sometimes....
I agree, but only when LMA is out. With LMA out, teams know to guard that 3 point line heavily.
Lowkey that's would they should be doing. Thrillard can drive but sometimes but kicking back out can be problematic for him at times. Mo gotti is good at driving and kicking out though
But I think Wes and ROLO should be killing the inside. Wes is a heavier guard, with a good post game, that rarely gets used. And ROLO is a 7footer, with a decent mid / close range jumper and he can post up. This would free up batum, thrillard and mo / wright(for the time being)
It's hit and miss, but more often than not he's gold. I feel like he should post up a bit more instead of always trying spread the mid-range game. At least when that mid range jumper isn't instantaneously going down.

As far as our bench...we started this slide when Joel Freeland got hurt. He was our main backup big.

I'm talking about overall he's better than Dirk. Dirk is a better outside shooter.
I think that's all he was saying about LMA...he should stop taking so many outside shots. Why mess with shooting so many jumpers when you can dominate inside? Leave that to others who are better than you at that.

It was expected really. They overachieved during the start of the season when LMA, Lillard, Batum and them were playing their best. Add to the fact that their best player has been hurt since the all star break and either missed a bit of games or just didn't play as good as before when he was contending for best big in the league. And when you have a bench that weak and no replacement for him, you'll suffer. Players get tired from playing that much and the team defensively is very weak.
They have no depth whatsoever. Most of their bench are players who will never amount to shyt, save for maybe McCollum. Williams has been iffy all season from what I seen (
@Serious or @Skooby can correct me if I'm wrong) and Robinson has all the tools to develop into a good player but won't
