you do as you please*
indeed. I'm well aware of that now. I'm just at the point of, there are an infinite amount of possibilities out there, which one should I choose, dedicate my time to. How can you know? So i'm like fukk it, I'll stick with what has helped me out so far. But, that worldview may not be tenable in the long term. I dunno breh. I think I just need to have faith in the fact that positivity can help me. That's hard to come by though

I don't even know what negative and positive means, sh1ts usually relative.

The cute kitten you cuddle and play with is the devil to the mice hiding in that hole in your wall.

I'm a pessimist, I wouldn't describe that term as negative but I'm aware that some probably do. Although I could put the same label on optimistist simply because that state of mind usually only leads to disappointment and a "so called" negative outcome or reaction.

I basically just wasted my time and just said a whole bunch of nothing btw.

But if I were to describe what I consider negative then it would be any individuals who harber unwarranted prejudices or hatred towards anyone for absolutely no real reason, anyone who gossips behind people's back and anyone who purposely manipulates and takes advantage of people.

You cant even throw murder in there because under certain circumstances your country will reward you for it with badges.

Rape would be universally negative under all circumstances I'd assume (although in nature it's almost the norm... Maybe the animal kingdom needs a #meeToo movement?) What's that male species of spider that gets murdered by it's mate the moment he bust a nutt? That's apparently the norm and they go into it knowing they're gonna die. Is that negative?

I'm not sure but I'm thinking if it's the norm for that species then it can't be.

The concept of positive and negative only exist inside the gooey tissue of our evolved primate brains. The rest of the universe has complete indifference to something like this for a example... Planets, stars and galaxies ain't loosing sleep over this

I don't think anything matters but being negative in the human sense isnt healthy for your mind and body and makes u more prone to high pressure, accelerated aging and stroke.....and for that alone it's worth it to attempt to think "happy" thoughts.

Yeah, good point. I guess I don't have to get rid of the negative thoughts 100%. I can still keep that part of me, even in positivity. Thanks ::ehh:
Yeah, after I conquered my depression, I had a phase where I thought everything was just going to work out. All I did was blast funk and jazz, daydream and ocassionally work on music. That led me back into being a place of depression. I had to cut some things out of my life to make progress.

A lot of truth in this post. You've given me some things to think about. But right now, I'm at the point of, why can't I have it all? I want the negative with the positive. Is that possible? :ohhh:

My problem is that I can't trust myself. I unfortunately have a medical condition that makes a stable life seem impossible. I can't just open up and trust that the path will work out. I gotta worry about what if I completely fukk my life up, on some "trust mentally ill thoughts" shyt? It's a handicap that I am trying very hard to get around.

Wants and desires are the recipe for a miserable existence

Buddha said this 500 yrs before Jesus but nobody listened.
I'm on my "anything is possible" mindset right now. Like, what's stopping me from doing anything? That's a powerful feeling (but I do realize it could be an illness...:mjcry:)

If it feels good then just ride that wave

If u ever come down from it then have some weed or something to help u cushion that crash when it comes down

Do whatever u want bro, just don't harm yourself or anyone else.

The world is your playground. Rock out with your cock out

Yeah, I've been leaning on weed a lot recently. I like the "filter" weed provides. My problem is that if I go with the flow too far, I could hurt myself our others. Like, for real, this bi-polar thing, is annoying as hell :smh: I can't tell the difference between a manic state, and an excited state. Like, I always gotta ask....is this just my brain fukking up? That makes it hard to completely lose yourself in a worldview

I wish I could still smoke weed without getting temporary dementia.

Hopefully that was just a 1 time thing and the beautiful plant isn't completely ruined for me forever.

I'm open to trying other shyt, but only after I'm diagnosed with a terminal illness. Not tryna fukk myself up too bad if it's unnecessary. The day I get an untreatable cancer is the day I'm trying nose candy

So, I've lived my life in a very negative manner. I hate positivity, I hate positive music, I had positive TV. I hate that shyt. That "negative" way of living provides many insights. You get to learn what tragic situations offer you. There are many, many beautiful realizations after you "go through Hell."

However, after some life changing events late last year, I'm starting to think; What can positivity bring me? :ohhh:

Y'all that can relate to this, I'd appreciate your take on this "negative" vs. "positive" worldviews. I'm a complete noob when it comes to positivity. That may be hard to believe for some of you, but for the past 35 years, I've lived a "negative" life; thinking everything is terrible...existence is all about suffering, and all that type o shyt.

What does positivity grant you?
Turn that frown upside down OP
