Max Payne 3 was also great.
Anyway I am currently downloading Alan Wake on the PC.
You're absolutely right it is a great game. I'm not taking that away, but I feel that 1 and 2 MP were more focused on a great detail on the story the quotes that were constantly used and the comic strips that were used to tell the story.
I felt MP 3 was just all shorter and not focused to much on story but that's just me.
