I'm halfway through Ascension playing it on PS Now. But I had to stop since I can't connect to PS Now servers on my US account in Europe due to the lag.

I think it's a solid 8.5 to me so far. First level on Ascension may have topped that first level on God of War 2....that whole Hecatonchires level was just incredible. Living prison.....

They left too much of a cliffhanger with GOW3, I wanna know what happens

I was playing God of War 3 for the first time in years the other day and if someone told me the game was a PS4 game I wouldn't have doubted them

Graphically the game hasn't aged at all and I'm amazed that it was done on hardware that's 8 years old, the power of optimization

I can't even imagine how great God of War game build specifically for PS4 would look like

I remember buying God of war 3 and I didnt even have a ps3 I jacked my brothers system and played that shyt, since i wanted to see how it ended... Amazing game. ending was lackluster though but i had massive fun... Kratos killed everyone no fukks given for anyone, or anything....

I've played several next gen exlusives (Ryse, The Order 1886, Infamous second son) and own a gaming pc capable of running every modern game and I was still impressed with GOW3's visuals when replaying it the other day

I appreciate the visuals more now than I did years ago

That opening level was but unfortunately it's all downhill from there. Nothing else in the game comes close to that.

The boss battles and puzzles in the others were fun, and at least there was dialogue but there were hardly any puzzles in ascension and kratos barely talked.
