I used to volunteer at a cat shelter. I've always loved cats.
I will say it is one thing to love cats and another thing to find yourself surrounded by a lot of them - former ferals, strays, abandoned, abused and crazy - in a big ass room...writhing around on the floor, tucked in the corners, hiding under the cages, looking down from cat trees and shelves...looking at you like
