I started to go into a crazy ass description of what the OP "sounds" like to me.

"It Ain't Hard To Tell" always struck me as fresh air. Like you going thru all the smog and pollution, overcrowdedness of NYC throughout Illmatic. The shyt is dope but naturally stifling.
