A lot of East coast rap is highly over rated because of a new York media bias.


People will try to make you sound crazy if you don't agree some album from some random new York rapper isn't an influential hip hop classic even though it's just a regional album that barely went gold during a time record sales were insane,while at the same time down playing influential records from the west and south that sold better AND had real tangible influence.

Future is the most influential rapper of the last 10 years.

Lil uzi vert is extremely talented and knows how to craft a song as well anybody today.


Post Malone is talented as fukk but wont get credit because he's white. Stoney was a great debut album.

Jay z and Nas have weak,uneven discographies with a few great albums sprinkled in.

Southern rap of any kind has yet to produce a
Tu Pac is garbage and his influence is wildly overblown. He has a handful of decent songs but for the most part is utter trash.
