Drake is the #1 worst rapper of all time, he's a closet homosexual, all his music is weak and corny, his whole image is fabricated, his voice is unbearable, his entire career is the epitome of "Fake it till you make it" and him being so popular just proves hip-hop has degraded to the point that it's become a joke.

I been said this though:yeshrug:

This will get you more daps here than negs, people hate him, although he has his delusional Stans as well.

He's "ehhh" to me. I don't hate him, he's just a corny crybaby to me who makes some good songs as well as a lot of bad ones which flood the radio.

Neither one of them have nonsensical rhymes.

People are being encouraged to downplay the art of RAP in favor for "Musicianship" which leads to what? Record labels being able to plug and play whatever artist they want to spearhead whatever project they put together and real live ass rappers get moved out of the market and the next generations of "Hip Hop" heads are further encouraged to take a backseat to production and "music" that's for sale rather than getting people to listen to what's really on their minds.
Sounds like none sense to me. There is a time and place for wordplay and displaying technical skills. They both over do it with their said styles. I'm all for thinking about what's being said but after a while it gets to a point where only the writer knows the message being conveyed. I'll go as far as to say it's a flaw in their writing styles. To illustrate this point if you were to pick a few songs from each artist where they are using the styles mentioned above and you were to ask ten people the meaning, you have ten different answers. So what's the point of using those styles repeatedly? Think I'm lying make the thread and watch the arguments begin.

If you reduce Kendrick or Eminem's lyrics to "nonsense" you're being disingenuous, PERIOD. Again, not talking about select songs or styles but overall.

@ the bold....especially the "what's the point in using those styles repeatedly"...because the want to and it's their art...who should the be considering when they decide what kinda style to flip besides what the fukk is on their minds and what they want to say/do? That just sounds like entitlement.

You don't like it, think it's "nonsenical" then whatever....but who cares a bout what 10 people think about a rap when most of these nikkas on HERE...a rap forum would need a hour long course on some shyt that took 2 seconds to say. I mean really...if you don't really understand what this is about you're going to miss out on some of the "whys" when it comes to deciphering what MC's are saying/doing and why. You'd probably gete 10 answers from people who don't know a fukking thing about rap.

Atlanta is the worst thing to happen to rap. Once youget past the cats from the 90s/early 00s they've done nothig but bad to the culture.

If Houston was the city to put southern rap on in the mainstream tho :ohlawd:
