Kodak Black is the best artist to come out in the 2010's. Nobody has his combination of lyricism, storytelling, introspect, authenticity, voice, beat selection, image. He has actually quickly become one of my favorite rappers to ever come out the South. He is NOT a mumble rapper and he expresses introspect, regret, spirituality in his music in a way that hasn't been seen from such a young rapper in years.

Troy Ave is actually a good rapper.

Don Q will rap circles around anyone right now, including legends.

21 Savage is actually a good rapper.

What A Time To Be Alive is an absolutely classic mixtape.

Lil Wayne is a top 10 rapper of All-Time.

I don't care if Nas or Jay-Z ever drop an album again. Both have been off-beat for the most part in their last few records, their legacies are solidified and they have nothing left to say.

Cam'ron and Ma$e were as good as Big L in the Children of the Corn days.

Coke Boyz in the early 2010's were what Dipset was to NY in the early-to-mid 00's. French Montana is a better rapper than given credit for. Also, Dipset had a bigger influence and following in the streets of NY than Wu-Tang.

The L.O.X. Money, Power, and Respect album is better than We Are The Streets just based off production alone. Styles P is also low key one of the most influential MC's for the current generation of NY rappers.

Drake has classics. So Far Gone is a classic mixtape, and Take Care is a classic album. Overall, though debating "classics" is pointless. The Coli ranks classics on magazine album scores rather than how an album resonated with the public in real time and how many songs continued to get played years later.

Kingdom Come was actually not a bad album and the production on it is pretty good. Tha Carter IV is also not a bad album.

The beats on Ice Cube's classic albums are ass, the beat on The Predator and Lethal Injection were better IMO, anyone who thinks 80's and early 90's production can stack up to today is out they mind.

Thought run dmc was a bit overrated even though they are legends

Whodini >>>>>

Kool G Rap is the greatest rapper of all time only really challenged by Rakim
modern G Rap flow though :scust:

He's probably the most underrated rapper of all time though. His lyricism combined with storytelling ability is masterful.

You never heard a Kodak project. You probably think he's a "mumble" rapper who only raps about killing nikkas and drugs or sum... :mjlol:

:ahh:

Do yourself a favor go listen to Troy Ave's Bricks In My Backpack series or NYC album and tell me son don't make good music :ehh:

Don Q would rap circles around anyone right now, already did it to ya boy Dave East more than once, already dismantled Meek, already went toe to toe with legends like Fabolous and the L.O.X. but aight cook :umad:

I have the Children of the Corn compilation. If you actually heard the Children of the Corn compilation and heard the freestyles they did you would actually see Cam and Ma$e spit effortlessly and were as good as Big L. Cam's verse on Give Up The Game and Mase's verse on Doin' It can go toe to toe with any L verse on the compilation. They all did the multis, L just had the fastest flow.

21 be making that shyt too, dope beats, unique vocalist, talks that shyt in a straightforward manner, entertaining hooks :umad:

Them Cube beats sound dated period, nobody even touching them shyts now. :umad:

A lot of East coast rap is highly over rated because of a new York media bias.

People will try to make you sound crazy if you don't agree some album from some random new York rapper isn't an influential hip hop classic even though it's just a regional album that barely went gold during a time record sales were insane, while at the same time down playing influential records from the west and south that sold better AND had real tangible influence.
Give some examples.
