sixers taking russel, thats not up for debate
I worry because of Evan Turner in thad mattas offense as a dominant ball handler, because Russell is slight of build and not particulary athletic.
I know curry was also but Steph destroyed big talented teams in the tournament, Russell struggled against them. I think he'll more than likely be great and in today's NBA his game fits right in but Winslow to me is a safer pick and has similar potential so I give him the edge. Than again being safe when projecting NBA drafts is what bit me in the ass in the past (I liked Okafor over Dwight :snoop:)
But its worked out for me as well (I was one of the minority that liked Kevin Love over OJ Mayo)

:ufdup:MKG was the hornets best player this season and actually shot better than Kemba.. vast improved this past season

As in field goal % or did he actually *shoot* that well :ohhh:

also remember that OJ Mayo in that bench scorer role for Memphis was looking like a future star. If he had been dealt to a good team that demanded him to keep his shyt intact he might have remained a hell of a player. Not taking anything away from you, just something to think about when you go down memory lane

I did watch a few hornets games this year and MGK was great, still his jump shot is a work in progress, (tho improved) as is his ball handling and playmaking. I'm a big fan of his though so I don't know how to respond. I wasn't like really shytting on him, it's a fact that his perimeter offense at his position is below average

No way Pistons pass on Hejonza or WCS if they are still on the board. Nice effort though. I'll post my order when I don't have so much going on.

*edit: Kaminsky as well.

Once again, not what teams will do, but I what would do in their position. I haven't seen a huge amount of Hezonja but outside of highlight clips, during actual games I saw, he didn't impress me that much. One time I liked him was U19 world cup a few years back, it may have been u17 even. Either way he played great but that was a short stretch of games against mostly inferior competition and he wasnt like DOMINANT. I take Booker, similar player plus doesn't have to be bought out from a Euro team or be assimilated into American culture

Both tbh, MKG was much more consistent than Kemba but he still has work to do.. but when u compare this season to last season its day and night, u can't help but be optimistic that next year becomes a breakout season based off of how fast he turned it around

Baby steps breh, he really focused on nothing but his jumpshot last summer so now that its not as huge of a priority as it was I think it opens up more time for him to work on his overall game.. everybody who's a diehard Hornets fan will tell u he's their most important player if not their best player, they suck without him and theyre .500 with him

i feel they just have to take him based on their team, they need shooting to build around the bigs.

mocks that have us taking Porzi must not know about the Serbian Sniper we drafted last year. :lupe:

Mario would be our pick here. and if Mudiay falls to the Kings, I'll personally pack Ty's bags. :pachaha:

It's possible but in today's NBA I'd like to see him in that Paul Millsap/Dray Green role.
He is bigger than Kawhi and not quite as quick.

this is why i'd like the wiz to also look at him if he's on the board

the issue is, Wittless won't play him..

If I was Philly, I'd swing for Mudiay at #3.
