I think the same thing that I thought before the ring...he's the perfect sidekick for Bron. He can just put his head down and do his thing while Bron runs the offense and takes over when needed. This was pretty clear last year after they got it together.

He's definitely not in the Steph, CP3 and Russ tier.. not even close. Over the regular season, Cavs were -0.4 points per 100 possessions with him on the floor compared to off the floor. That's correct, they were better with him off the floor. He doesn't have their kind of impact. Could he in the future? It's possible, he's still very young. But he's not in that tier at the moment.

There's a reason people were discounting the Warriors championship run last year and Kyrie going down was a big reason why.

The thinking this year and last was that Kyrie at the very least would've been able to cancel out Curry's contribution and allowed Bron to lead the way to victory. Indeed Kyrie simply canceled Curry.
