Count the number of syllables nikka....

DANG-er LURKIN' (4 syllables)

STRANGE and MURKIN' (4 syllables) ....Notice in these two bars the first and the two last syllables rhyme, but with that last bar the syllabels don't rhyme except the last two.

RANGES and SUBURBANS (6 syllables)

so the last example ranges and suburbans is not a multi

but danger and lurkin and strange and murkin are multis

am i correct ?

Serious question though, would those one syllable lines count as multisyllable rhymes since theres 6 one syllable rhymes within 2 lines?

I think the answer is yes because Kool G Rap especially when he was younger would rhyme one syllable several times throughout a line, Rakim also did this. Probably most rappers have used this rhyme structure at times

Thats not meant to be creative, just a basic example of what im asking

you dont have to rhyme every syllabel the same in multi syllabel rhyming scheme to call it multisyllable... as long you rhyming more then two syllables and the NUMBER of syllables you rhymin' is the SAME in the next bar, that's a MULTI.

cosgin this to add onto this u don't need to rhyme each syllable because then u start to not make sense. and i hate rappers that rhyme multisyllabic but fukk up the metaphors wordplay and punchlines and the overrall imagery. just to rhyme the only person that does that is mf doom and people don't considered him a top lyricist for a reason.

as long as u rhyme more then one syllable and they match in syllable count it is a multi razassin is correct

no i don't with multis they have to actually rhyme and match in syllable count and they have to be complex in the rhyme pattern

do it and music yes technically they are multis but not impressive multis so fukk out of here with that bullshyt ! i considered multis that start from 4 syllables and up. impressive multis and there are mc's online that write more impressive multis then that.

and classical does not rhyme with anything anyway

so it looks like u need brush up on your multisyllable rhyming knowledge

now that u changed my view of multis g rap did not even have multis in his first part of his career till like roots of evil that is when he perfected multisyllable rhyming.

az don't do that he does two and threes for the most part.

the only people that do write 5 syllable multis on a consistent basis is.......... i know people gonna laugh when they read this. is fabolous and old eminem like infinite and slim shady lp eminem anything after that eminem fell off.
