Dead Man Walking had some joints too
I got this one for Xmas from my aunt and this one I actually really liked![]()
I bought a Dead Man Walkin used CD at my mom and pop store for about 5 bucks a week or 2 after it came out
it definitely had some joints![]()
Yeah for those of us who still wanted more of that 90’s sound, that album definitely had some 90’s joints
I think some of those songs were from the Doggfather sessions
yeah some of the OG versions of these tracks were on Smokefest too
Big Hutch and whoever else Suge had in house did a decent job of remixing these on here
That’s right!
I forgot about Smokefest
They did. Big Hutch is so underrated

The sample laws made a lot of dudes switch up their styles too.Everyone wants to adapt and change up to be more current. Especially artists, and especially hip hop artists from that era. Dre's style changed pretty dramatically like 3-4 different times over the years.
Same thing happened with the East Coast moving away from samples in the late 90s. RZA could've made grimy 1995 style beats forever and I would've loved it, but he felt the desire to change and try new things.
The change isn't always for the better, b/c like you're saying I could've listened to the G-Funk and Boom Bap ish forever.
I'm watching Death Row Uncut again right nowthis shyt is classic. But man it could've been so much better.
I used to watch this on my old laptop...good times
but now I got nothing to watch it on![]()
