pretty on point, although i'm tryna fight off that dark side but well aware of the yin and yang

I feel where you're coming from.

That "other side" kinda ruled me for a few years. To no surprise my music choices at the time reflected it (ALOT of Z-Ro, Scarface, depressing/angry 2Pac). Once I did some travelling, soul-searching, etc. and got some new experiences under my belt it faded quickly.

It's easier to identify and avoid the darkness once you get some distance from the source of it.
