All my bredren who're old school enough to remember that Street Fighter 2 ushered in the one-on-one fighting game era, what's your favorite and most hated of the games that followed that formula? I'll start...

Favorite:

This actually became my favorite fighting game series. Slicing nikkas in half and blood on virtually every hit...

Worse:

Straight up

(And don't go and say Fighting Street, for any cats who remember that on the random tip )

I fukking loved Fighters History Ray and Clown were my favorite characters I wish I could get a HD version

I'd say SS 1 was pretty much a SF 2 with weapons, but it definitely evolved and grew into its own style with the subsequent sequels. When I use knockoff, I certainly don't mean it with the negative connotation, as SS 1 was simply a masterpiece and quickly dethroned SF 2 on my personal list of fighting game favorites.

I wish I played more Art of Fighting, I slept on that series and rolled with Fatal Fury instead.

I assume we're not talking the joints that didn't go with the cartoony ish like Tekken, MK, Soul Caliber and Power Stone (and worst: Clayfighter)

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a fighting game classic that not enough heads had the chance to enjoy.

Where does Primal Rage fall?

On the least favorite: I had high expectations for Blazblue and was completely disappointed.
