I don't want to insult Phonte or Pooh, but to me, Supastiton was always the best emcee to come out of NC. Supa's done his share of joints with LB, like "Rolling Out" (which I can't find on Youtube).. and this joint... Phonte's verse on this is very relatable...



Note: I've seen Supa multiple times live, and at least three or four times I've seen him, Big Pooh was on the same bill

Cool fact on this. They couldn't find a Kanye instrumental for this, so Khrysis just re-made the Kanye beat himself by ear and knowing the sample. So this is actually produced by Khrysis.
Khrysis and I were classmates in high school. Real cool down to earth breh

Yeah man. Supa is dope. Really dope. The Deadline is damn near a classic album IMO.

As far as this song, it's Phonte's most slept on in his series of "women" joints among LB's first few projects. It's up there with All For You and similar to Breakin My heart.
