once a bum at the gas station asked me for a dollar or some change... i asked what he would use the dollars for and he said... honestly, he needed a drink.
I was just like... wtf is one drink gonna do?.... I gave him 75 dollars and told him to have a great time because it might be the last good thing that happens to him before he dies. I used to see him every day.... but after like a month I never saw his old ass again. I hope that at least he had that one last good time
my second bm- didn't put my name on my sons Birst cert. i was at the hospital and have always been involved... but I guess she was upset at the time (cuz i wouldn't be with her) and figure she would just not allow me in his life. for 4 month, she sent me to VM, dissed me.... only contracted me to ask for money. She said that I originally wasn't the father on forms. The nice thing i did was - forgive her and contact FOC so that I can put myself on childsupport... instead of screwing her over.
When I was teaching, one of the Assistant tech support guys and I were really cool. Any time he was in the building, he'd come to my classroom and if I wasn't busy we'd chop it up. He was a cool dude...
Anyway, he had really bad vision, like he wore glasses, but he'd have to hold his phone directly in front of his face, or look at the computer from like 3 inches away. I'd always joke with him about getting new glasses, and he'd laugh it off and say yeah man. So, fast forward a little ways, his mother dies. And since he was genuinely a good guy, everyone decided to take up money for him. This is when it came out how dude was living, fam was living off minimum wage, and paying child support. He lived in one of those homes, that you'd swear nobody lived in. After that came out, I'd always ask him to hang out, go get a beer or something after work, and I'd look out. So, one day I wanted to do something really nice for him, but I knew if I just tried to give him money he wouldn't take it. So, I went to the local optometrist and got him a coupon for a free eye exam, and glasses up to $300. Put it in an envelope, and dropped it off at the School Board Office for him in his box. This was around Christmas time, so when we came back, sure enough he'd taken it and gotten him 2 pairs of glasses with it.
Later that year, I was helping him set up the computers for SOL testing, and he told me thanks and like daped me up, and I was like "No problem", and he held my had and was like "No, really...thank you". To this day I don't know if he knew or not.
That really touched my heart.
because I obviously don't really want to give her my number, but I also didn't want to say no because nice guy. So, I look at her mother like help me out here idk what to do. And she's looking me like 
what you gonna do. So, I panic and give her my real number thinking what could go wrong. She text me later that day, and I texted back thinking that was the right thing to do. But since then she's been texting me nonstop and I'm really feeling like I've fukked up because I really don't want to hurt her feelings, but at the same time I'm not trying to keep texting her all the time. Any advice?
