Ya'll don't get it. They basically treating Batman like a supporting actor. Not only that, they way they are going about this is all wrong. Batman Begins came out in 2005. Superman Returns came out in 2006. Iron Man came out in 2008. DC had a 2 year head start. The first Hulk came out in 2003, they threw it in the bushes and came with a fresh boot in 2008, the same year as Iron Man.
DC had a 3 year head start but for whatever reason the didn't have a vision or plan. Marvel did and they broke it down into phases so that everything would be cohesive. What DC is doing I think will backfire. The fact that they didn't hit a homerun with MOS could only be the beginning of a

with this series. All everyone knows is Batman in the confines of Gotham and everything he does is for Gotham. Then you have to go with what translates to the big screen.
Marvel had an advantage because most casual fans didn't know too much about The Avengers characters which allowed for them to not have to stick to the comics 100%. They could be more creative. I don't think you can do that with Superman or Batman. They tried to do that with MOS but all it did was create

plot holes. If there was only one Nolan Batman movie I could understand. But it was a Trilogy that ended last ended last year. 3 years might be enough but The Dark Knight came out 4 years ago and it still rings out. But either way you still need to do some type of origins because the TDKR doesn't tie in to MOS. Even after a 5 year gap Marvel still connected The Incredible Hulk with the first Hulk and the Avengers. And The Hulk wasn't a "lead" character. DC like fukk all that and think they can skip steps.
