Wayne settles for 10-20 of the 50 million he sued for, Roc Nation will manage him but MMG will be his label. He'll take radio back. Carter V drops on his birthday and does 250k first week much to folks surprise. Will be better than C3 and C4. He'll tour 2017 and retire.
Ross will do 6-12 months in prison.
Meek opens the year with a solid mixtape, obviously to still be clowned. He'll release an album in the 4th quarter that'll do like 70k first week but will probably be his best work.
SWISH will drop in early summer and will be better than Yeezus but not enough to keep him around. 600k overall and Ye bows out to be a family man.
Chris Brown runs out of chances. Another R&B cat runs 2016, either a new cat or I get the strange feeling a nikka like Mack Wilds will come back with that 90s influenced sound and people catch on to it.
A new female rapper emerges and will be the South or West's Nicki.
Drake finally gets in a full-fledged rap beef. Jay due to Tidal/Apple competition or he'll have a verse/bar on VFT6 too slick for Kendrick to ignore. If it's Jay, the generational gap softens the blow. If it's Kendrick...it does not end well.
He and Wayne won't be at each others throats but his alliance with Ross/Jay will split them apart. They'll pick things up a few years after almost like nothing happened.
VFT6 will drop in April/May, digital first week only, 750k. 1.7 mill overall. Extremely polarizing album, perfect execution, but very R&B centered with 4-5 hard songs to express his paranoia/romanticize his somewhat antagonized position but they'll sound out of place. He'll also catch flack for not expanding his content and further going with style over substance in the wake of the Cole - Kendrick album being it's opposite.
Someone in OVO will come out with receipts about his writing/artistic process, and the camp will go through an overhaul. Drake will be able to briefly ignore it while making money on tour, but he'll feel the effects after and will spend the second half of the year and 2017 acting. He'll also sign a new, unknown cat and give him the package the Roc gave to Kanye in 03 to help himself. Female talent also, as his own Rihanna.
TDE experiences internal stife. Q releases a good album that gets mishandled, ripples begin to form that Kendrick is the only one they care about. They will try hardest not to bleed publicly but the dynamic will change.
The Cole - Kendrick album surprise drops and does 350k first week. 11 songs, will have 2 Gold singles and make it cool to be lyrical again.
Nas drops in the summer. This is the Gawd's last album, strong project, 200k opening and a Gold plaque, retires to focus on Mass Appeal and their artists.
Around this time 2016, we either get a surprise in the form of Watch the Throne 2 or Jay Elec's album.
Fetty Wap goes pop and doesn't come back.
Future drops another tape the streets feel in February/March, but another in the summer that shows him running out of gas.
A somewhat relevant rapper gets exposed as gay and will have a domino effect of another 5-6 rappers being exposed.
We'll lose a 90s or 2000s rapper too soon.
