Do you have a package with phone and cable? 70 is good for Rogers standards.

48 down is not crappy speeds, and upload speed is not really that important (unless you're streaming, uploading on Utorrent/Youtube,etc.)

I was in a similar situation. I had a contract with a company and the max speed in my household was 5 down and 0.6 up, and my next door neighbor (with the same company) had 50 down and 10 up. I've had 5 down and 0.6 up for the past 8 years, used constantly by 4-5 people. shyt was a struggle.
