I wanted to put Bill Russell in there I just couldn’t justify in my head putting him over any of the other players I listed
And i ain't mad at anyone who ranks him in the top ten or even number 1. But i often wonder why Bill gets the praise as the greatest ever but someone like Sam Jones who was actually the leading scorer for a few of them and was known as their best clutch player isn't as revered as him.
Bruh don't apologize for that. With all the talent that has debuted and finished careers in the past 20 plus years will push some of the older players down the list. It won't be long before someone like Bird is next to fall off MY personal list. Cause with cats like Steph Giannis Westbrook Dame KD Harden (especially if he gets a ring) Kyrie in the league with good health most if not all will be in the top 50 players ever discussion that everyone likes to talk about from time to time. Not to mention players like Dirk KG Wade having played their entire careers already and belonging on the list too.
