The new Ford Ecoboost 3.5 is low-key crushing the buildings right now. It's even in the 2017 Ford GT pushing over an estimated 600hp from a direct injected twin turboed 6 banger.

I fukking hate to give Ford props, but they got something special with that one.

My top 3 are:

1. 2003 3.2 VW R32

2. 1993 Honda VFR750F Flat plane V-4.

Honestly, the DP 1600 Type 1 is the real MVP. So technically the Porsche lump is a VW lump. From a design standpoint... the aircooled VW is probably the most tried and true implementation of its original purpose.

It's not a sexy engine, but it is probably the best in the world.

I have a love/hate relationship with the VQ

I love it cause I've had so many... lot of great memories. I hate it cause it's a gas guzzler and Nissan manual transmissions are awful
