So, I’m studying and bored so I downloaded the latest Meadowlarkers. We doing this now? We can’t judge Daryl Morey for not winning cause he has the 4th most wins during his tenure, teams have never missed the playoffs, he heads the Sloane Conference? No rings. Teams consistently choked. Man if they don’t get the fukk outta here with that shyt. The amount of mythologizing and narrative crafting they do for this guy blows my fukkin mind
After listening, extra shout out for just how great Amin is on the show these days. I usually glaze over the local sports shyt but he got me actually engaged in the Heat talk and he was compelling on the Kyrie shyt when I thought that was done to death everywhere already. He went from being awkward fan on mic always trying to overplay how much he knew the show back when into bar none one of the best personalities they have currently.

If Stugotz decides to hang it up, Amin seems like a great option to be a full time cohost with Dan. Gotz is funnier and alleviates some of the serious or boring droning Dan gets into….but Gotz rarely voices a legitimate stance of his own
been listening since about ‘09 and still can’t tell you what Stu’s general politics are.Where as Amin isn’t afraid to voice a differing sincere opinion, even if most in the room don’t like it (like the Rachel Nichols/Maria Taylor shyt, or when he was sonning Jessica, or today how he pointed out the same documentary Kyrie posted gas Islamophobia but no one’s asking about that).
Jessica’s aight. She’s at her best doing those little adlibs in the background…and outside of the time she went silent after Amin sonned her….she and Billy are the only ones that will actually counter some of Mike’s bullshyt.
