he announced it on the show? Post article doesn't mention it

It does:

One of the biggest NFL TV free agents is staying with ESPN for a deal that will push her yearly earnings past $2 million per year, The Post has learned.

Analyst Mina Kimes and ESPN have inked a contract that will pay her a little more than $1.7 million per year, according to sources.

She also has a separate deal with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions for her podcast. Omaha and ESPN have a partnership agreement.

On Wednesday, Dan Le Batard said that Meadowlark had signed Kimes to continue to appear weekly.

It's like Pablo's contract where he's primarily signed to Meadowlark but still works w/ ESPN on ATH & PTI. Mina's primarily w/ ESPN but seems like she has a clause to work with Meadowlark included as opposed to previously where they'd have to clear w/ ESPN any time she'd make an appearance. And Dan specified today she's going to appear weekly on Thursdays with them.

How is ESPN cool w/ this? Meadowlark is a competitor.

ESPN probably not scared of Meadowlark. Mina is big time now too, so she probably also has some leverage to get side-gigs away from ESPN.

She used to host/co-host some Ringer podcasts but I think at the time those were non-sports related.

that must have been edited afterwards because when I first read it this morning it only mentioned the podcast with the Manning network

Exactly. As constructed, Meadowlark's ceiling is eventually being a production company that ESPN buys content from. Letting some of their more specialized talent go on their shows isn't that big of a deal to them, since they're only really a competitor in the broad sense that they both make sports content.
