South of West Palm Beach, a high % of Cubans really think they are (American) white. This is why you see Dan and them generally slip in and out of calling themselves (American) white men.

I assume most large latin groups near borders feel they are “different” from their latin counterparts and leans towards their European/white assimilation claims…..but it seems deeply entrenched in Miami Cubans.

Glad for Stugotz because he oddly deserves it after dealing with Dan for 20 years; although I hope he's finally learned his lesson with taking advantage of friendships with younger talent. Taylor shouldn't done this shyt for free all that time, but it's Stugotz. He's the uncle you know will never act right, but he was always cool as hell. Billy and Mike were willing to deal with the nonsense because he could empathize with them about Dan. But providing a helpful ear doesn't pay the mortgage.
